ADOS-2 Evaluations
The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, second edition (ADOS-2) is an instrument used for diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This evaluation consists of a series of structured and semi-structured tasks that involve social interaction between the examiner and the person being assessed. The examiner observes and identifies segments of the individual's behavior and assigns these to predetermined observational categories. The information gathered during the ADOS-2 will be utilized by your Developmental Pediatrician or Neurologist to determine if a formal diagnosis of autism is appropriate.
